THREE ROADS
ONE CROWN
Every team qualifies and every team plays a knockout. Where you finish in your group of three sets your road: Gold, Silver or Bronze. Same three roads for the women's teams.
Golden Minute
Level at full time, each side drops a player and plays one Golden Minute, 3v3 plus keepers. First goal wins. Still level after the minute? Each side drops another player and plays on until the goal comes, down to 1v1 if it takes that.
Competition rules
- 3Win in regulation
- 2Win in the Golden Minute
- 1Lose in the Golden Minute
- 0Lose in regulation
- 1Result of the match between them
- 2Fewest red cards received
- 3Goal difference
- 4Goals scored
- 5A Golden Minute playoff
A win in regulation is worth more than a win in the Golden Minute, so the decisive team seeds higher. Two teams level? The match between them decides. Three teams level beat one another in a circle, so it falls to clean play, fewest red cards, then the goals.
